Susan Farley
Board Chair
Susan is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a professional focus in Occupational Health and Infection Prevention. She has a strong interest in supporting community initiatives for kids including mentoring volleyball players and being a board member of a local camp that focuses on enriching the lives of vulnerable youth (Camp Appalachia in Scott Depot, WV). Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with her family and friends and planning Disney trips.
She and her husband, Neil, have a daughter named Penny who was diagnosed with ASD as a toddler. With the help of high-quality ABA therapy and community support from CARES, Penny continues to thrive and demonstrates that she has a bright future ahead.
CARES has been an instrumental program for her family over the years and has given Penny many opportunities to participate in activities that cater to the support needs of both her and her peers. Susan is excited to be a part of CARES and looks forward to its continued growth and the future advocacy it will bring to families in West Virginia
