Jason is Educational Program Development and Training Director for CARES and Bright Futures Learning Services. He specializes in training educators in Precision Teaching, classroom management, Direct Instruction, differentiated instruction, mathetics, and data analytics. He has worked with schools across the country to implement evidence-based instructional strategies and data-driven decision-making.

Jason began his education career as a Special Education Teacher. In 2010, he was part of the first team to replicate the Morningside Model of Generative Instruction for students on the autism spectrum. While earning his degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, he discovered his passion for teaching through tutoring and never looked back.

In addition to his work with CARES and Bright Futures, Jason is a consultant for the Morningside Teacher Academy, a renowned institution in Seattle, Washington, specializing in empowering students to achieve exceptional academic growth and lifelong learning success. He also serves as the Vice President of the Board for The OBSI Project, a Florida-based non-profit that works to support youth in challenging situations. Additionally, he frequently speaks at professional conferences, sharing insights from his work and the incredible progress of the students he supports.

Jason is grateful to do what he loves every day. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Beth, their son Jacob, and their dog Gracie. They love spending time in the great outdoors, going to all kinds of sporting events, and traveling to new places.

Community Autism Resources and Education Systems is a non-profit focused on increasing access to evidence-based services while providing education, advocacy, and community outreach to empower West Virginia children on the autism spectrum and their families.
