SpectRUN and Au-some Family Fun Day
Join us for our biggest and best event of the year, the 5th Annual Autism SpectRUN and Au-some Family Fun Day at Hurricane City Park on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
The SpectRun 5k/10K kicks off on the Meeks Mountain trails at 10:00 a.m. Racers will be timed as they enjoy a beautiful mountain trail featuring artwork by JP Owens and Putnam County community members.
Au-some Family Fun Day kicks-off at 12:30 with our annual Sensory Family Walk that’s suitable for walkers of all ages and abilities. CARES families and supporters will experience numerous sights, sounds, and activities that will surely excite their senses while strolling around Hurricane City Park. Family-friendly activities, games, entertainment, music, and food (available for purchase) will follow the Sensory Walk and will be available until 3:30.
This is a great opportunity to connect, get active and have fun, while making a difference. So grab your walking /running shoes, round up the family, and join us for a day of fun and giving back!
